CURRENT NEWS
LinkedIn + Content Creators = B2B Lead Heaven
🚀 Hey Content Creators, Let's Talk LinkedIn for B2B Leads! 🚀
If you're not using LinkedIn to drive B2B leads yet, you're missing out on the party of the decade – and I'm not talking about those awkward networking events with stale sandwiches. Here's why LinkedIn is your golden ticket:
Audience Quality Over Quantity: LinkedIn is like that exclusive club where all the cool business folks hang out. We're talking CEOs, CMOs, and all the 'C' suites – the decision-makers with the power to say "Yes!" to your services.
Content-First Platform: Remember when LinkedIn was just resumes and endorsements? Well, now it's a content paradise! It's craving your expert articles, engaging videos, and those witty insights you can provide. Plus, with less competition than other social platforms, your content gets the VIP treatment it deserves.
Networking on Steroids: LinkedIn connections aren't just digital handshakes. They're potential clients, collaborators, and cheerleaders for your brand. Every connection is a door to a new opportunity.
Targeted Approach: With LinkedIn's tools, you can pinpoint your dream clients. Imagine fishing in a pond where every fish is a potential lead. That's LinkedIn for you!
LinkedIn sessions increased 25 percent year-over-year, with 358 billion feed updates viewed. But only around 3 million users share content every week. This means that only about 1% of LinkedIn’s 260 million monthly users share posts, and those 3 million or so users net the 9 billion impressions.
LinkedIn drives 46% of social traffic to B2B sites and is the most credible content source. So, it is no surprise that 98% of content marketers use LinkedIn for content marketing, especially for B2B marketing and lead generation.
OkDork's study analyzed more than 3,000 LinkedIn posts and found that “how-to” and list posts performed best, especially those with 40-49 character titles. Additionally, it found that posts with five headings had the most views. It also revealed that long-form content (1,900-2,000 words) performed the best, as well as content with eight images.
So, content creators, it's time to suit up (or at least put on a clean t-shirt) and dive into the LinkedIn pool. The B2B leads are waiting and are as eager to meet you as you are to meet them. Let's make business happen, one connection at a time!
CREATOR AI STRATEGIES
Open AI Launches New App Store For Chat GPT
App stores make a lot of money. In 2022, Apple's App Store earned over $70 billion, more than Spotify, Shopify, and Airbnb made that year.
OpenAI, a company leading in large language models (LLMs) and chatbots with its GPT-4 and ChatGPT, has started a new project called the GPT Store. This store lets people find special versions of ChatGPT made for different needs. Just yesterday, they shared that users of ChatGPT have already made over 3 million unique versions, even though this feature is pretty new.
Some examples of these special ChatGPTs are Consensus, which helps with research, and AiPDF, which allows users to upload large PDF files and ask questions about them.
OpenAI also plans to let creators in the U.S. make money from their ChatGPT versions based on how much they are used. They will share more information about this soon.

TikTok Implements New Restrictions On Hashtag Search
TikTok has updated its Creative Center by removing the ability to search for specific hashtags. This change limits insights into tag popularity and trends, previously useful for campaign planning.
Critics argued that this feature revealed censorship on the platform, leading to its removal. TikTok, owned by ByteDance, faces scrutiny over content moderation and potential influence by Beijing. Now, the Creative Center focuses on data for the top 100 hashtags in various industries, aligning more with market research.
This decision reflects TikTok's stance against political discussions and alleged associations with the Chinese government. Despite the restriction, other valuable research tools in the Creative Center remain available for marketers.

Trivia Answer: The rise of AI-integrated content creation is predicted to be a major trend for content creators in 2024. This trend is backed by statistical data showing a surge in the use of AI tools for generating personalized and engaging content. For instance, a report from Markets and Markets projects that AI in the social media market grew from $0.6 billion in 2018 to $2.2 billion by the end of 2023.
