I donā€™t know about you, but today, everything looks similar when I scroll social media platforms for content from online entrepreneurs and content creators.

Generic advice. Recycled ideas. Yawn-inducing content. That's the true reality for most online creators today.

They're not bad. They're just... utterly forgettable.

Hence why, many stay stuck in the 200-view count club.

But you? You're not here to be another digital wallflower. You're here to be the fireworks spectacle in a sea of nightlights. The peacock among seagulls.

The Purple Cow in a field of brown cows.

The one that makes people stop scrolling, start paying attention, click your links, and ultimately, reach for their wallets because they HAVE to HAVE your thing.

"In a crowded marketplace, fitting in is failing. In a busy marketplace, not standing out is the same as being invisible."

Seth Godin

In todayā€™s newsletter, we're diving into how you can leverage AI to create your very own Purple Cow - content so remarkable that people can't help but talk about it (and share it).

You'll learn:

  • Why being "good enough" is a death sentence for your online business

  • The "Purple Cow Generator" AI prompt for crafting content that turns heads and drops jaws

  • Real-world examples of how to implement the Purple Cow strategy in your content to skyrocket engagement and conversions

From Zero to Hero: How Iā€™m Growing My Followers With An Automated AI Process

As someone who's built a thriving online business from scratch, I know firsthand how game-changing the right strategies can be.

After being completely burned out on creating content, I was determined to build a more automated process to double my content output while doing half as much work.

That's when I discovered the power of AI for content creation.

By leveraging AI tools and frameworks, I was able to:

  • Create a week's worth of high-quality content in under 2 hours

  • Grow my audience on autopilot while capturing and following up with leads automatically

  • Automate and generate content that authentically resonates with my ideal audience, keeping them returning for more

My recent results were so encouraging that I knew I had to share my strategies with fellow content creators and entrepreneurs in a more community-based method.

And so, The AI Escape Community was born. Doors opening December 31, 2024.

Itā€™s Remarkable or Bust: Why "Meh" Won't Cut It Today

Listen. Today, nobody's looking for more content that blends in.

Your ideal target audience is bombarded with thousands of messages and pieces of content daily.

The average person consumed an average of 143 minutes of social media content daily in 2024.

And that ā€œaverage personā€ has gotten really good at tuning out the noise and ignoring anything that doesnā€™t stand out to them.

Ignore The Big Lebowski GIF

Being "good" isn't good enough anymore.

  • Good content gets scrolled past.

  • Good products get ignored.

  • Good businesses fade into obscurity.

To truly succeed as a solopreneur, you need to be remarkable.

You need to be the Purple Cow in a field of brown cows. šŸ®

In his groundbreaking book, Seth Godin introduced the concept of the Purple Cowā€” creating something so remarkable that it demands attention.

BY EMBRACING THE PURPLE COW CONCEPT, YOU:
  • Cut through the noise and capture your audience's attention

  • Build a loyal following of true fans who can't wait to see what you'll do next (you know, like those Netflix series that have you up at 1 am on a workday)

  • Create content and products that market themselves through word-of-mouth

For example, mindlessly flicking past video after video when you're scrolling through your social feed.

Suddenly, something catches your eye. It stands out from the majority of the content youā€™re used to.

You stop. You read. You click. You share.

That, my friend, is a Purple Cow in action. **(save and analyze these videos)

So what kind of content is classified as ā€œPurple Cowā€?

The weird. The unexpected. The remarkable.

But here's the catch: Being remarkable isn't easy. It takes guts, creativity, and a willingness to ruffle some feathers.

But before you go painting yourself purple and mooing from the balcony, let's talk about an important distinction:

There's a fine line between remarkable and ridiculous.

Between purple cow and purple bull$#!t.

You want to stand out, sure. But not for the wrong reasons.

You donā€™t want to go viral for the wrong reason, attracting the completely wrong audience.

Hereā€™s what to avoid in your quest for remarkability:

  • Clickbait on steroids: "This ONE WEIRD TRICK will make you a BILLIONAIRE overnight!!!" Yeah, no. Just no.

  • Scammy hooks: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. And your audience knows it.

  • Exaggeration nation: Stretching the truth might get you clicks, but it'll cost you credibility. In this game, credibility and reputation are everything.

  • Shock for shock's sake: Being controversial to stir the pot? That's not remarkable; it's just annoying. I know, I know, it does work. Just donā€™t do it all the time.

People should never see your content and go likeā€¦

Remember, the goal is to be a purple cow, not a purple clown.

Your content should be remarkable because it's genuinely valuable, insightful, or innovative - not because it's outrageous or misleading.

Think of it this way:

You want to be the cool house on Halloween, giving out full-size candy bars, not the weirdo handing out pencils.

Luckily, Iā€™ve got just the AI prompt to help you with thisā€¦

The "Purple Cow Generator" Prompt

Feed your content idea into this prompt and watch as it transforms from "meh" to "wow":

I want to create remarkable, "Purple Cow" content about [TOPIC] for [TARGET AUDIENCE].

Please help me brainstorm 5 unique angles or approaches that would make this content stand out and be truly remarkable.

Consider:

Unexpected combinations or mashups with other topics/industries

Contrarian viewpoints that challenge conventional wisdom
Extreme examples or case studies that illustrate the point in a memorable way

Unique frameworks or models to explain the concept

Surprising data or statistics that shed new light on the topic

For each idea, provide:

A catchy, attention-grabbing headline

A brief description of the angle/approach

Why this would be remarkable and shareable for the target audience

A potential hook or opening to grab attention immediately

Remember, the goal is to create something so unique and valuable that people can't help but talk about it and share it with others.

HOW TO USE THE PURPLE COW GENERATOR PROMPT:

  1. Plug in your [TOPIC].

    • Example: "actionable advice for using AI for content creation"

  2. Define your [TARGET AUDIENCE].

    • Example: "online entrepreneurs who want to stand out online."

  3. Let AI work its magic.

Hereā€™s the output it gave me based on the example inputs I wrote above:

The gears in my mind immediately started turning once I read these.

I havenā€™t seen any creator touch on any of these ideas before, so I know they will stand out and be remarkable on the feed.

WHAT YOU LEARNED TODAY
