Read Time: 5.0 minutes
Creators,
Be honest: Have you ever started writing copy for your next short or long-form video, email, website, or funnel and realized it’s as engaging as a monotone lecture?
No matter how much effort you put into perfecting every word…
For some reason, it still fails to convert people into followers, leads, or to purchase your products or services.
This was my most frustrating roadblock when first figuring out the content game.
I thought I could do it all myself until I realized:
Dozens of copywriting geniuses came before me — how stupid am I not to leverage their knowledge and expertise!?
Today, I will discuss how integrating AI with one of my all-time favorite copywriting tricks—the PASTOR framework—can create copy that connects with your audience and drives conversions.
"People don't buy for logical reasons. They buy for emotional reasons."

From Zero to Hero: How I’m Growing My Followers With An Automated AI Process
As someone who's built a thriving online business from scratch, I know firsthand how game-changing the right strategies can be.
After being completely burned out on creating content, I was determined to build a more automated process to double my content output while doing half as much work.
That's when I discovered the power of AI for content creation.
By leveraging AI tools and frameworks, I was able to:
Create a week's worth of high-quality content in under 2 hours
Grow my audience on autopilot while capturing and following up with leads automatically
Automate and generate content that authentically resonates with my ideal audience, keeping them returning for more
My recent results were so encouraging that I knew I had to share my strategies with fellow content creators and entrepreneurs in a more community-based method.
And so, The AI Escape Community was born.
Why Persuasive Copy Is the Linchpin to Compounding Your Conversions
You've been told repeatedly that driving hordes of traffic to your website is the key to a successful online social media marketing campaign.
And like most online entrepreneurs and content creators, you've probably fallen into the depths of despair, thinking:
"If I can get enough people to see my offer, the sales will pour in!"
But here's the harsh reality:
Without deliberate persuasive copy, even a tidal wave of traffic won't put a dent in your bottom line.
Imagine this scenario:
➡️You click on an ad that promises to solve your biggest problem.
But when you land on the sales page, you're greeted with a wall of bland, generic text that fails to address your specific pain points or offer any real value.
The headlines are drier than the Mojave Desert, the benefits are as vague as a politician's campaign promises, and the call to action is as weak as a droopy fettuccine noodle.
Do you eagerly pull out your credit card, ready to hand over your hard-earned cash to this generic brand that has not convinced you that the product or service you’re purchasing will help you?
Of course not.
Imagine a different scenario where the copy grabs you by the collar, speaks directly to your deepest desires, and vividly describes how your life will change for the better.
As you’re watching the video sales letter copy on the sales page, you can't help but think to yourself:
"This is exactly what I've been searching for. I need this now!"
It's like a first date.
If your date spends the entire date droning on about themselves and making zero effort to connect with you, you'll be counting down the minutes until you can exit stage right.
However, if they ask thoughtful questions, listen attentively, and make you feel like the most fascinating person in the room, you'll eagerly anticipate the next date before the night is over.
That's the power of persuasion.
The end goal is crafting copy that resonates with your audience deeply and emotionally and shows that you genuinely care about their wants, needs, and aspirations.
It sends a clear message: "I'm here to make your life easier, better, and more fulfilling, and I have the perfect solution to help you get there."
Persuasive copy should be the non-negotiable base of your entire marketing strategy.
Benjamin Franklin once famously stated, “If you want to persuade, appeal to interest, not to reason.”
But here's the kicker:
A majority of content creators or digital marketers have no idea how to write copy that makes their audience sit up, take notice, and whip out their wallets.
They're not trained copywriters and don't have the budget to outsource it to a pro.
Luckily, in 2024, we have ChatGPT4o or Claude, and this AI is a savage at writing persuasive copy.
And when we combine it with the timeless PASTOR framework…
Problem: Identify the problem or pain point your target audience is facing.
Amplify: Emphasize the problem and its consequences to create a sense of urgency.
Solution: Present your product or service as the ideal solution to the identified problem.
Transformation: Describe how your solution can transform the customer's life or business.
Offer: Make a clear and compelling offer, highlighting the benefits and value of your product or service.
Response: Include a strong call-to-action (CTA) that encourages the reader to choose the solution presented.
…it becomes your secret weapon for writing insanely persuasive copy, even if you're a total newbie.

HOW IT CAN HELP YOUR BUSINESS:
Boost your conversion rates and revenue with copy that persuades even the most skeptical prospects to take action.
Build deep trust and loyalty with your audience by showing that you truly understand their needs and challenges.
Differentiate yourself from the competition with original, compelling copy that captures attention and drives results.
The “Persuasive PASTOR” Prompt You Need To Implement Immediately
The goal of this prompt is to help you generate persuasive copy for any type of content (email, sales page, LinkedIn post, vertical video content, long-form content, etc) that boosts conversions for whatever product or service you want to promote.
I want you to help me generate persuasive copy for a [INSERT CONTENT TYPE].
The goal is to persuade [INSERT TARGET AUDIENCE] to [INSERT SOLUTION].
For greater context, here's some more background info:
[INSERT CONTEXT]
The persuasive copy should be written according to the PASTOR framework, which works as follows:
Problem: Identify the problem or pain point your target audience is facing.
Amplify: Emphasize the problem and its consequences to create a sense of urgency.
Solution: Present your product or service as the ideal solution to the identified problem.
Transformation: Describe how your solution can transform the customer's life or business for the better.
Offer: Make a clear and compelling offer, highlighting the benefits and value of your product or service.
Response: Include a strong call-to-action (CTA) that encourages the reader to opt-in to the solution presented.
Each sentence should be given its own line.
The generated copy should have a clear structure, flow logically from one point to the next, and use persuasive techniques such as storytelling, clear analogies, and emotional appeals to engage and convince the reader.
HOW TO USE THE “Persuasive PASTOR” PROMPT:
I am starting to recommend Claude over ChatGPT for this prompt (and all writing output prompts).
Where it says [INSERT CONTENT TYPE], input the piece of content for which you generate the copy.
Example: “LinkedIn post, landing page, marketing email, tweet, etc.”
Where it says [TARGET AUDIENCE], input your ideal customer profile.
Example: “Online business entrepreneurs and content creators looking to leverage AI to save time and make more money.”
Where it says [INSERT SOLUTION], input the product or service to which you are trying to convert your audience.
Example: “Subscribe to my newsletter about AI business workflows” OR “Purchase my product.”
Fill in the [INSERT CONTEXT] placeholder with more context about your business and your solution.
As always, I recommend attaching your own written content as examples for the AI so the output mimics your own writing style.
Here’s an example of a marketing email I had it write using the same prompt above:
Pretty cool, huh? All done with just a couple clicks of a button!
