From Zero to Hero: How I’m Growing My Followers With An Automated AI Process

As someone who's built a thriving online business from scratch, I know firsthand how game-changing the right strategies can be.

After being completely burned out on creating content, I was determined to build a more automated process to double my content output while doing half as much work.

That's when I discovered the power of AI for content creation.

By leveraging AI tools and frameworks, I was able to:

  • Create a week's worth of high-quality content in under 2 hours

  • Grow my audience on autopilot while capturing and following up with leads automatically

  • Automate and generate content that authentically resonates with my ideal audience, keeping them returning for more

My recent results were so encouraging that I knew I had to share my strategies with fellow content creators and entrepreneurs in a more community-based method.

Why Implementing Polarization Into Your Content Strategy Will Establish A Cult-Like Following

Consider this frequent scenario:

You encounter a new content creator in your niche. Their content is... adequate. Honestly, unremarkable.

They clearly know their information, but their messaging is as memorable as a mayonnaise sandwich on plain white bread.

Now, imagine this:

You stumble upon another creator who fearlessly takes a stand on a sizzling topic in your industry.

They wake up daily wanting to rock the boat, call out the elephant in the room, and rally their tribe around a shared vision.

Their content makes the viewer feel SEEN or understood.

Like they’ve finally found their tribe.

Which brand are you more likely to follow? To engage with?

It's a no-brainer.

In an ocean teeming with generic brands, the ones that STAND FOR something make the most waves.

Here are a couple of examples of creators who I think do this extremely well:

@levelsio, who stands against European regulation and stands for making Europe “innovate again.”

@thejustinwelsh, who stands for the freedom entrepreneurship provides and stands against the misery of working a job you hate.

THEY'RE THE ONES THAT:
• Attract ride-or-die fans who vibe with their beliefs and values
• Repel those who don't (and that's a feature, not a bug — more on that in a bit)
• Inspire unshakable loyalty and word-of-mouth wildfire

Let’s think objectively about some of the most iconic brands out there:

  • Apple, with their battle cry to "Think Different" in a sea of sameness

  • Nike, with their unflinching endorsement of contentious characters like Colin Kaepernick

  • Patagonia, with its unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and activism

Love 'em or hate 'em, these brands have one thing in common:

They're always polarizing.

And that's precisely what makes them so potent.

They've transformed customers into crusaders by planting their flag on issues that strike a chord with their audience.

But I know what you're thinking: "Wouldn't I scare off potential customers if I were too polarizing?"

And here's the uncomfortable truth:

Trying to appeal to everyone is a fast-track way to appeal to no one.

When you dilute your beliefs in an attempt to avoid upsetting people, you wind up with a forgettable, flavorless brand that stirs up zero fervor.

But when you stake your claim and shout your personal values and positions from the hilltops?

You'll turn off some folks (of course!).. and that's great—because it's 100% worth it.

Because for every person you repel, you'll attract 10 more who are elated to have finally discovered a creator who tickles their fancy.

A creator they can believe in. A creator they'll go to bat for.

So, how do you pinpoint what your content and brand should stand for (and against)?

How do you balance between bold and brash, polarizing and offensive?

That's where AI comes in to save the day. Duh!

With my prompt below, you can identify the rock-solid beliefs that will form the foundation of your brand and attract your most dedicated fans.

The "Magical Movement" Prompt

Feed your brand info into this prompt and watch AI reveal the bold stances that will get your audience fired up and pledging their allegiance:

My brand is in the [NICHE] space, and our mission is to help [TARGET AUDIENCE] achieve [DESIRED OUTCOME].

We want to take bold stances on issues that matter deeply to our audience, even if it means ruffling some feathers. 

We'd rather have a small army of die-hard fans than a huge group of lukewarm followers.

Brainstorm 10 potentially controversial topics in our niche that we could take a stand on. 

For each topic, come up with 2-3 specific stances our brand could take.

The stances should be:

Aligned with our mission and values
Meaningful and relevant to our target audience
Bold and opinionated, but not needlessly offensive
Likely to spark passionate agreement from some and disagreement from others
Supported by clear reasoning and examples

Based on your analysis, recommend the top 3 stances our brand should adopt to become a polarizing, powerful movement. The stances should complement each other and paint a clear picture of what we believe in and why.
Summarize how these stances will help turn our followers into passionate fans, and repel those who aren't aligned with our mission.
Write the summary in a bold, opinionated manifesto style that showcases the passion behind our beliefs.

HOW TO USE THE MAGICAL MOVEMENT PROMPT:

  1. Replace “[NICHE]” with your niche.

    • Example: “AI and online business.”

  2. Replace “[TARGET AUDIENCE]” with the type of person your brand is aimed at helping.

    • Example: “solopreneurs”

  3. Replace “[DESIRED OUTCOME]” with the end goal you aim to help these people achieve.

    • Example: “Work less and earn more with AI-powered online business solutions.”.

Here’s the output it gave me based on the example inputs I wrote above:

These values and “mission statements” form the bedrock of my movement.

While many people oppose the evolution of AI and content creators leveraging it to help with content creation (because it’ll take jobs, it’s not “human,” and for countless other reasons), my current brand stands for it and advocates for embracing AI.

This prompt helped confirm this and identify unique angles I could take to approach it.

There's a fine line between being boldly opinionated and just being a jerk.

I have seen this strategy get people doxxed and get entire groups of people slinging mud at you.

The aim isn't to stir up controversy for controversy's sake but to stand firm in your personal values in a way that strikes a deep chord with your ideal audience.

So, take a second to really reflect on what matters most to you and your brand.

Here’s what you must define: What hills are you ready to die on? What beliefs course through your veins? What change do you want to see in your industry and the world?

Then, let AI help you articulate those stances to make your followers want to tattoo your logo on their biceps (okay, maybe not that far, but you get the idea).

Because, at the end of the day, a brand that stands for something is a brand that will stand the test of time!
