Creators,

Have you ever wondered how some content creators effortlessly get people to stop scrolling, watch and engage with their content, and attract their ideal audience to click the links in their bio? In contrast, others struggle to gain views and build that profitable email list.

What if the difference wasn’t luck but a secret framework combined with an accessible tool they were using? What if YOU could harness that tool, too?

After creating thousands of pieces of content, I hit a brick wall. I would stare at my phone daily, wondering what content to make next.

I knew that without new daily content, I couldn’t continue to grow my audience, email list, and, subsequently, my business.

But everything changed when AI technology became the secret weapon in my content creation and online business journey….

Ok, I’ll admit it:

These first lines were 100% written by my newly created AI content writer.

Pretty good, right?

📲Linkedin’s Creating A TikTok Clone

  • LinkedIn is conducting a limited beta test of a new short-form video feature on its iOS app. The feature incorporates a dedicated video tab that replaces the "My Network" tab.

  • This new feature offers a vertical, full-screen video feed similar to other platforms like TikTok, allowing users to like, comment, share, and view more details about each video.

  • The initiative is part of LinkedIn's broader exploration into video content following the launch of Daily, a feature offering daily video insights on the LinkedIn Learning app, towards the end of 2023 into 2024.

  • The move reflects the growing trend of short-form video content's popularity across various digital platforms, including social media and streaming services.

  • LinkedIn aims to cater to creators and professionals by providing high-quality video content that aligns with its educational and professional development focus, potentially differentiating it from platforms with a more entertainment-centric approach.

  • However, there's uncertainty regarding how the LinkedIn community will receive this feature, balancing between welcoming a new content format and concerns over the platform leaning too much towards casual social media.

  • The future of this short-form video feature is uncertain, as LinkedIn has previously discontinued similar experiments like Stories based on user feedback and engagement.

Why Attempting Content Creation Without Context Is Akin To Hurling A Soggy Sponge At Your Customers

How can you consistently create good content?

It’s a question I’ve asked myself several times since entering the digital space.

So far, this is what I’ve learned:

Creating bad content is like serving a tasteless dish to hungry guests.

It’s when content creators repeatedly throw their calls to action like a wet sponge into their followers' faces.

Euw.

= An call to action with zero context.

Strategically created content, on the other hand, is all about delivering the punchline with context.

Because context frames the theme of the content.

The best context you can give is a story because humans use stories to make sense of everything.

That’s why Russel Brunsons’ Hook-Story-Offer framework crushes.

Let’s Deep Dive The Hook-Story-Offer Framework:

Russel Brunson’s framework consists of 3 specific parts:

  • First, it grabs your audience’s attention with a Hook.

  • Second, it tells your Story in a way that shows the power of your product or service.

  • Third, it pitches your Offer or CTA based on the Story you told.

Here’s how to think about (and use) each part of the framework:

Hook

Your hook is like the movie trailer.

Your first sentence or caption has less than three seconds to stop the scroll and get people to pay attention.

The three ways you can do this:

  • Make a promise

  • Build curiosity

  • Be relatable

Example:

"If you're an entrepreneur tired of 80-hour weeks, what if I told you there's a secret to doubling your revenue while cutting your work hours in half?"

Story

This is where you tug at the heartstrings by sharing your backstory.

The way you should think about this:

Show your customer that you can relate to their pain points and how you've walked a mile in their shoes.

It’s the low point of your journey.

Example:

“I used to be stuck at 200 views on all my posts and struggled to build an audience with my ideal client before I discovered how to use AI to craft scroll-stopping content and gain thousands of raving fans on autopilot”.

Offer

Time to wrap it up.

Your call to action must be so good they can't not take action.

  • Guarantee what they will learn

  • Limited-time offers (urgency/scarcity)

  • Get them to share it with others to prevent FOMO

Make them feel like they'll miss out on insane life-changing value if they don’t take action, lol.

How to use Russell’s Hook-Story-Offer framework to sell your products via any medium

As you just learned, creating content to build your audience or sell your products/services becomes much easier when contextualizing it with a story.

You only need to add a hook and a story to your content to increase followers and sales.

That would normally take you HOURS to do manually, though…

…if I hadn’t taught GPT to do it for you… LFGGGG!

Prompt Template: The Russell Brussel Content Writer

This prompt writes a landing page for you using Russel Brunson’s “Hook-Story-Offer” framework:

Using Russel Brunsons' "Hook-Story-Offer" framework, I want you to write short form video content scripts for me.

For context, [INSERT CONTEXT]

My backstory is: I used to be a [INSERT LOW POINT], then I found [YOUR PRODUCT / SOLUTION], and now I help others do the same / [YOUR OFFER]

My offer is: [INSERT OFFER]

___

When writing a text in the "Hook-Story-Offer" framework, this is important to consider:

1) The hook should catch the reader's attention through one of 3 ways: 1) Using curiosity (stick out from the crowd) 2) Show empathy by making a statement or posing a question relevant to the audience's inner fears and desires 3) Make a promise (that the offer later fulfils)

All good hooks keep the audience in mind.

2) The story should be short, action-packed, and extremely compelling. Each line should make the reader want to watch the next.

3. The offer should be ridiculously compelling and variety of calls to action such as like, comment, follow for more, or share. (Use urgency, scarcity, decrease risk, increase perceived value).

4. Use an empathetic, persuasive but authentic tone of voice.

For example, here is a short form video content written with the Hook-Story-Offer framework:
Use the attached spreadsheet as a guide.

## Example Short Story: I used to be a slow writer, managing only one or two blog posts a month, while others could churn one out in a day or two. I felt embarrassed but attributed it to my pace of work. Then, a conversation with a novelist friend changed my perspective. He wrote 15,000 words daily, which he didn't consider a gift but a result of retraining himself. He introduced me to a new writing method popular among fiction writers. Intrigued, I adopted it and saw significant improvement within a week, reducing my writing time to two days per post and later to just four hours, all while maintaining quality.

## Offer: I've created a course, "Become a Writing Machine," based on the system my friend shared with me. Today, I'm offering it for just $7, an 85% discount from its usual $49 price. Click the link in my bio to access the course and improve your writing speed. Don't miss out on this opportunity to boost your productivity!

As another example, here’s a different content written with the Hook-Story-Offer framework:

Despite facing challenges and nearly losing ClickFunnels, we persevered, testing countless strategies to increase our visibility. While many attempts failed, a few key secrets began to yield significant results, allowing us to tap into new streams of our ideal customers. What once seemed impossible became our reality: a consistent flow of dream customers into our funnels

## Offer: Here's what I want to give you: 14 Days Free of ClickFunnels, Training on Building Your First Sales Funnel, Advanced Training on Building Sales Funnels That Convert, One-On-One Training With a Sales Funnel Expert, and My Book on Building High-Converting Sales Funnels. What have you got to lose?

How to use the prompt:

  1. Fill in the [INSERT CONTEXT] placeholder with context about yourself and who you are.

  2. Fill in the backstory section with your backstory. What was your low point or struggle before creating this product?

For example:

“I used to struggle to get leads from my content, then I found and leveraged AI to create high-quality content that gets leads on autopilot, and now I help others do the same”

  1. Fill in the [INSERT OFFER] placeholder with information about your offer.

For example:

“The AI Lead Machine, a free 5-day educational email course that teaches my audience how to go from 0 to 1000 leads in 1 month in audience building. It includes:

[List all the product features]”

Here’s the content it wrote in seconds for a course called the AI Lead Formula:

Writing a sales page as good as this would’ve taken 10+ hours or cost me $4,000+ to hire a professional copywriter.

Now, you can do this for free - in 3 minutes.

I’m still amazed by AI…
