CREATOR MONETIZATION STRATEGIES
Rise Of The Global Creator
YouTube has been embracing the use of multi-language, and now anyone, anywhere in the world, can reach a global audience across many top languages.
Mr. Beast was among the first to use the technology in 2032 to become the top Creator in Korea, Brazil, Germany, the US, the UK, and Australia. Companies like Papercup have helped Veritassium, Jamie Oliver, and others go global.
And as tech gets better, expect to see more popular creators connect globally. Other creators, such as Whinderson Nunes, Camila Cantin, Juanpa Zurita, and many more, are poised to expand their global reach.
But we’re as excited about who we don’t know today that will break out globally in 2024. This includes music and the rapid rise of artists like Rema from Nigeria with his song “Calm Down” in 2023.
Dividing your content into additional channels dubbed in various languages gives you the potential to reach millions more people, growing your reach by 2x-5x.
SOCIAL
Why Social Growth Might Be DEAD
Pew's study indicates that major social platforms have stagnated over the last three years. In 2024, the focus on social video platforms will shift towards competing for market share, launching new businesses, and less emphasis on TikTok.
TikTok's shop, which is aimed at competing with Temu and Amazon, exemplifies this shift. YouTube is expected to pursue TV dominance, raising questions about the impact on creators.
The change from managing growth to operating in a stagnant or declining market underscores the importance for creators to secure their market share in 2024 independently.
CURRENT TRENDS FOR CREATORS
Leverage These TikTok Trends in January
@nene_la_shiro This is us, in real life… ft @mama_lolo_ @Darren White #family #dance #funny
Trend Recap: Dust off your dancing shoes and grab a friend (or two).
This trend is simple — in the opening chords, the light, and you'll either strike a calm pose or dance move.
Then, in the next clip, the lights are off, your friends shine their phone light, and you'll "get hype" (AKA bust out your best moves to the beat).
This works for family fun and getting ready for a show.
Bonus points if you all wear a costume because you don't need Halloween as an excuse to dress up).
