Why Payouts For Creators Could Be Even Bigger In 2024

TikTok had a really big year. It was the first phone app to make over $1 billion from people worldwide in just one part of the year. At the start of 2023, people had already spent over $6.2 billion on TikTok. By the end of the year, they spent $3.8 billion more. This means TikTok grew a lot - 61% more than it did at the beginning of the year. And it made 15% more money than in 2022, which was $3.3 billion.
But what does this mean for you, The Creator? It means more money will continue pouring into social platforms and creators’ pockets.
Without a doubt, we’re seeing more and more of an emergence of a “middle-class” creator globally.
As a middle-class creator, if you can find an audience, create great content for that audience, and engage them to the point where you can drive enough revenue, you generate enough income in 2024 to support a decent lifestyle.
Even more so, you may end up through luck, skill, or a combination of both, rocketing to that top 1%.
